Botswana Ministry Of Health Upgrade(01/01)

In 2002, MEDITECH embarked on a project with the Botswana Ministry of Health (MOH) to implement the MEDITECH system to 4 hospitals, 16 clinics and 6 state laboratories, with the primary aim of supporting the MOH's anti-retroviral treatment programme. This implementation was completed in 2004.

In 2010, with the assistance of MEDITECH, these facilities completed an upgrade of the system to Client Server Version 5.6.

Currently, the implementation of an additional 10 modules across the original 4 hospital sites is being completed. These additional Clinical, Financial and Executive Support applications will improve patient care and operational efficiency.
