MEDITECH's Microbiology application streamlines workflow and eliminates the time-consuming paperwork associated with processing microbiology specimens. The module is equipped to handle work for multiple laboratory sections, including:

logy sections. A series of on-demand inquiries and reports are included in the module to instantly provide a patient's test results to nurses and physicians. A series of workload statistics are also included to help a health care organization analyze the
work efforts required to process specimens. Built-in integration ensures that necessary information is shared between the Microbiology software and the HCIS.
